Due to popular demand, we will be returning to the lovely town of Ellicottville, NY for the three-day May long weekend. We will stay in the Purple Palace and the Edelweiss Inn across the road. The club has hosted this weekend several times in previous years and will be revisiting some of the popular routes as well as offering some new ones. The scenery is spectacular with the added bonus of quiet roads and paved shoulders.
Approximately 20 of us will stay in the communal Purple Palace. The majority of you will stay across the road at the Edelweiss. We have reserved 13 rooms at the Edelweiss Lodge. Each private room has 2 Double/Queen beds suitable for 2 singles or a couple.. Breakfast is included at the Edelweiss. Club members who are staying in the Edelweiss will be assigned rooms in the lodge and will pay directly to the lodge.
The Purple Palace will be used for a communal BBQ on the Saturday night (open to all weekend participants). Unless you are a weekend volunteer, have been notified otherwise, or have a strong preference for staying at the Purple Palace, assume you will be occupying a private room at the Edelweiss. ALL PARTICIPANTS WILL BE PAYING A SIMILAR AMOUNT AND MUST PREREGISTER ($35) TO HOLD THEIR SPOT.
Once you have reserved a spot and paid your $35, you will be assigned to either the Purple Palace or the Edelweiss Lodge. Members who have are staying in the Purple Palace will be sent a link to pay an additional $180 to the club through Paypal.
Members who are staying in the Edelweiss will be given a phone number and a code to book at the Edelweiss. The cost for each double room for the 3 nights is $372.90 US or $504 CA (approximately due to currency fluctuations). This includes breakfast for each of the three days. (Purple Palace folks are responsible for their own breakfast)
Please remember to buy a club membership ($30) before signing up for the trip. We have room for 46 riders so sign up quickly.
